I should start this out by saying we had a wonderful time in Prescott seeing "Finding Nemo on Ice" with Doo! We went for a long walk in mom's neighborhood, saw cows, a goat and Toph got to ride a horse! Now...as for the rest of the week....
On Saturday morning, Roscoe and Pip decided that they needed to chase after a coyotes that wasn't even in mom's yard. While they accomplished scaring the coyotes away, somehow Roscoe managed to tear his miniscus and cruciate ligament in his knee, thus leading to surgery and the following " very pathetic" pictures of Roscoe that we took last night:
Roscoe is supposed to stay inactive for 6 to 8 weeks..hmmm...try telling him that! We feel so bad for our little baby and hopefully he will be feeling better soon - with all the drugs he is on, he should be feeling pretty good!
As for the rest of the family..Benny tubes are doing what they are supposed to and started draining a few days this week - so we are using drops in his ear to keep them clear - he is teething all the time and will hopefully get some teeth soon. Ben is quite a good eater and will eat almost anything you put in front of him! He loves to crawl away and have you chase him while getting a new diaper - just LOVES this new game!!
Toph is doing very well in Preschool and is taking computer classes and karate at school - he is also playing soccer again this spring! Toph will be starting speech therapy classes next week. The school district has determined that he is 100% almost all of his other skills, but has trouble annunciating, so he will be going to the "big kids school" for 30 mins on Monday and Friday to take his speech therapy classes - he is VERY excited and we think it will be really good for him!
Maddie is doing great at Triple R Childcare and the ladies there all ADORE her! She is their only girl right now and is there little princess! She is changing daily and has the most beautiful blue eyes!!! Maddie will Baptised at the end of April and I am proud to say that not only am I her autie, but I will also be her godmother!!!
We hope that everyone stays healthy and happy and has a wonderful spring!
