Yep...it's been 3 Months..I am the queen slacker!!!

I know...I know....it's been since August, but I swear it's for a good reason...now let me think...which reason should it be??? No really, it's been crazy around the Jensen house!!!

Toph is totally enjoying Kindergarten, LOVES his teacher and has even had a Fall break of which he spent a few days in Prescott with Doo and HAD A BLAST!!! He is doing really well with his numbers, letters and starting to read short sentences...we are so proud of him!!!

Benny is talking up a storm right now and sometimes we get confused about who is talking...Toph or Benny!!! Benny still loves school and get's to see his cousin Maddie Mouse every morning!! No potty training yet, though he is interested, we are trying to figure out right now how to get the Paci away from him..suggestions are always welcome!!!

Dale is still on the hunt for a job and is doing everything he can think of to get his foot in the door, but the economy sucks right now as we all know, so we just keep plugging along, and might I say he is an amazing Mr. Mom..so proud of him!!!

As for me, I am staying busy as they had to lay off about 10 people at my company, so I am now working 40 hours per week and am doing the job of 3 people!! Fortunately, Dale is home for the boys so I can rest easy that they are getting there love!! I also just completed the 60 mile 3 day walk for the cure, it was by far one of the most amazing experiences ever and I will never forget it...what a life affirming 3 day's it was!!!

So, now onto the Holiday's!!!!! We are spending Thanksgiving with mom in Prescott and our BFF Mel has decided to join us!!! Then onto a joint B-Day party for Maddie who will be 2 on December 25th and Toph who will be 6 on December 10th and finally Christmas over at Marc and Lisa's house where her mom and dad will be preparing an amazing, yummy dinner!!! We are looking forward to the next few months and hope that everyone has a happy and healthy Holiday Season!!!

It's August Already????.....

Happy August Everyone!!

I have been quite the slacker since May, but with every intention of posting monthly and just running out of time. We have been doing a lot of hanging around the house and swimming over the last few months as it's just been WAYYY too hot to do anything else!

We did spend 4th of July in Prescott at Doo's house...the weather was perfect and the kiddos had a blast. We have quite a few pictures posted in our picasa photo album..it's to the right, just click on the slideshow to see all the pictures!

Dale is still on the hunt for a new job as he was laid in June after being with the same company for 9 years, but we are blessed to have such wonderful support from our family and friends and we have no doubt he will find something soon! In the meantime, he is doing a fantastic job being "house daddy", he even put up a new shelf in our office and might I say, it' looks like it was always part of the closet...that's my amazing man!!

We have also had a few pool gatherings with Mom, Marc, Lisa, Maddie and our canine family members and we have some great pictures of Pip's first swim!!

Finally...Toph started his first day of KINDERGARTEN on the 10th! He was sooo excited and such a trooper, I think I was more nervious than he was! His teacher, Mrs. Miller is awesome and we have no doubt he will have a BLAST!!!

We do hope that everyone had an amazing summer and a fantastic school year!

Hi everyone,

It's been awhile since I've posted, just been a bit busy this month!!!

The month of May started out with our Toph's Pre-School Graduation!!! Yep, he starts Kindergarten in August at Kyrene de la Paloma Elementary School...it's one of the best school districts in the valley and he is VERY excited to be a big boy!!

Toph is also active in Karate and is taking swimming lessons...Ben will start lessons next week as a 2 year old!!!

Yep, that's our next big event in May!! Benny turned two on May 27th and we had a luau party to celebrate his big 2...everyone had a wonderful time and we are sooo lucky to have such amazing family and friends to share the big moments with. Thank you to everyone who came!!!

We are all ready for a busy summer and hope to visit Doo in Prescott and maybe the cousins in Grand Junction!!! We hope that everyone has a very happy and healthy summer!!!

Crazy last few months

So yes...I am a slacker, but for a good reason, I am minus a foot for awhile...not a very good excuse since that doesn't affect my fingers at all, but it does affect my time management skills, and for those of you who know what a neat/control freak I am, well let's just say it's been a little tough keeping sane. Thank god I have my AMAZING husband and two very helpful boys to keep me going, not to mention my SAINT of a mom who has been coming practically every weekend since my surgery to clean and do laundry...love you mom.

Without going into the very booring story of how I broke it, and how Roscoe tore his ACL...we both had surgery the same week and both were out of it for awhile. But we did manage to have an amazing Easter over at Dad and Vic's and then a fantastic night on the town to Celebrate our 10 year anniversary.

That brings us up to date...May is already here and Mother's Day is right around the corner!!! Happy Mother's Day to all you amazing mommies out there and enjoy a few pictures along the way.

Cousin, Cousins Everywhere!

I just love my family!! Not only are they all such amazing, sweet and extraordinary people, they have the capacity to always make everyone feel welcome and supported. I feel like the luckiest person alive to not only have my amazing immediate family, but also my many, many Fantastic cousins, aunties and uncles in my extended family. We all gathered together this past weekend to celebrate the life of our sweet uncle Ted and I have never felt so loved in my whole life...my family is truly the best in the world!! Take a look at some of the pictures, I only wish mom had been in the group picture at uncle Ted's service, she had just left. I love you guys so much, thank you for being such an amazing part of my life!!
